Compact version of the GasMix™ series dynamic gas mixer

The AlyTech ZEPHYR II is an automated dual-channel system engineered for the precise generation of gas mixtures and calibration standards.
As a compact evolution of the GasMix™ line, this diluter integrates high-precision Mass Flow Controller (MFC) technology with a dedicated control interface, eliminating the need for an external PC.

Technical & Metrological Specifications

  • Accuracy and Repeatability: Setpoint accuracy of ±1% and repeatability <0.1% (within 10-100% of the full-scale flow range).
  • Metrological Excellence: MFCs are factory-calibrated at 400 points for specific gas matrices (He, Ar, CH4, H2, N2, CO2, Air, etc.), ensuring superior linearity even at critical flow rates.
  • Dynamic Dilution: Standard dilution factor of 1:2,000, expandable up to 1:10,000.
  • Compliance: Fully compliant with ISO 6145-7 standards, featuring NIST-traceable calibrations.

Software & Automation

The system is powered by the pre-installed ZeSoft software via a 7" touchscreen interface, featuring:

  • Smart Sequence Builder: Automated generation of multi-point curves and pre-programmed injection sequences.
  • Uncertainty Calculation: Integrated algorithm for real-time calculation of final concentration uncertainty.
  • Traceability: Full event audit trail and storage of gas libraries and MFC calibration curves.
  • Integration: Seamless synchronization with external analyzers via TTL signals or dry contacts.

Operational Advantages

  • Portability: "Plug & Mix" design ideal for mobile laboratories or field installations; optional battery pack providing up to 8 hours of autonomy.
  • Material Versatility: Available in an inert version for handling reactive and corrosive gases.
  • Efficiency: Drastic reduction in operational costs through in-situ production of custom standards from pure gases or concentrated mixtures.

Target Applications

  • Analytical Calibration: Validation and linearity control for GC (FID, TCD, SCD, MS) and micro-GC systems.
  • Environmental Monitoring: Calibration of ambient air analyzers NOx, SO2, CO, O3.
  • Industrial Processes: Synthetic atmospheres for reactors, glove boxes, and refinery gas analysis (RGA/NGA).
