In this application note, we validate the use of Markes’ TD100-xr thermal desorber for the TD–GC–MS/MS assessment of four fluorotelomer alcohols (FTOHs) in accordance with ASTM D8591.
We confirm the absence of background signals on the TD100-xr thermal desorber, demonstrate excellent peak shape and linearity, and confirm limits of detection in the range 14–35 pg.
