This work describes a solid-phase extraction (SPE) method and LC-MS/MS analysis of perfluorinated compounds (PFAS) in water intended for human consumption.
The sample preparation process is performed fully automated using the Raykol Fotector Plus system combined with the Raykol Auto EVA 80 parallel concentration system.
The sample racks of both instruments are compatible, making operations consistent and simple.
The solution enables automated preconcentration of the compounds of interest, ensuring lower limits of quantification with high levels of accuracy and precision across a wide linear range.
The results show excellent recovery performance and repeatability.
Blank verification confirmed that the pretreatment process does not introduce detectable contamination for the compounds of interest, making the solution suitable for the determination of these PFAS in water intended for human consumption.
