Composition of Natural Gas

The AC NGA GPA 2261 analyzer, engineered by PAC and powered by AC, is configured to ensure maximum operational stability in the determination of the key components of natural gas.
Designed to operate in accordance with the GPA 2261 method, the system provides an analytical breakdown of the major components in less than 25 minutes, making it the ideal standard for quality control and commercial transactions.

Analytical Range

The analyzer is optimized for the quantification of the following analyses:

  • Hydrocarbon Fraction: analysis from Methane (C1) to Hexane (C6), with grouping of the C6+ fraction Inert and
  • Permanent Gases: Nitrogen (N2), Carbon Dioxide (CO2), and Oxygen (O2)
  • Sulfur Compounds: determination of Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S).

Performance and Compliance

  • Flexible hardware architecture
  • Complete analytical results within a 25-minute cycle
  • Integrated Automation: complete management via AC GAS XLNC software, which automates calibration, peak identification, and physical property calculations
  • Remote support and connectivity: the system supports remote diagnostics and support via LAN connection, ensuring minimal downtime and immediate technical support for method optimization.
  • Reference Standard: fully compliant with GPA 2261.

GAS XLNC Processing Software

The dedicated GAS XLNC software transforms chromatographic data into ready-to-use reports, automatically calculating critical parameters such as:

  • Higher and lower calorific value
  • Relative density and compressibility factor
  • Wobbe Index
  • IncludesTrend Analysis tools for monitoring system stability over time.
