The LUMA multi-channel vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) GC detector has the sensitivity required for trace-level applications while providing the flexibility to analyze a broad range of compounds and the simplicity of operation to fit into existing laboratory workflows.
LUMA harnesses the short-wavelength, high-energy light found in the vacuum ultraviolet range of the electromagnetic spectrum. All compounds, except common carrier gases, absorb in this region so the VUV GC detector is universal.
It is sensitive and selective with a broad dynamic range so it can analyze compounds from trace to high percent levels. High-speed data acquisition enables fast GC for reliable, rapid results without compromising accuracy or performance.
