AC Analytical Controls of PAC offers a complete range of Detailed Hydrocarbon Analyzers (DHA) for detailed hydrocarbon analysis in light hydrocarbon fractions, feedstocks, intermediates and finished products.
Understanding the composition of hydrocarbon streams is essential for the refining industry and detailed analysis helps optimize production, meet regulatory requirements and improve profitability.
AC DHA analyzers comply with standard methods D5134, D6729, D6730, D6733, D7900, EN15199-4 and IP601.
The systems are based on the Agilent 8890 GC platform, whose intelligent features increase system productivity and help reduce analysis costs, and are managed by IRIS 3.0 Client/Server software that seamlessly integrates SimDis and DHA XLNC into the networked CDS environment.
Furthermore, the DHA XLNCTM software suite has been specifically developed for detailed GC hydrocarbon analysis and focuses on workflow:
-
it interfaces universally with all major chromatographic data systems on the market to produce accurate, fast and formatted results
- it contains predefined test methods and product information, minimizing user configuration
dedicated component
- databases, test methods and products can be easily created, copied or modified to meet specific needs
- Kovats index-based compound identification is combined with intelligent peak identification, ensuring more accurate peak assignment and increased analysis confidence.
Available configurations include:
- Fast DHA application to determine the individual components in gasoline blending feedstocks within 28 minutes
- DHA Front End (Light Hydrocarbons in Stabilized Crude according ASTM D7900/IP601/EN15199-4)
- DHA Combi, where the Front-End application is combined with a standard method in one solution
- AC®8612 delivers ASTM D86 calculated data for naphtha and gasoline samples within ASTM D86 groups 0, 1, and 2. A proprietary calculation model provides accurate D86 calculated data which makes it a fast and safe alternative for D86 physical distillation.
Features and Benefits:
- Full range of DHA applications comply with ASTM D5134, D6729, D6730 and D6733
- AC Fast DHA application for optimized separations in 28 minutes
- Unique Combi system permits the analysis of both light petroleum streams and the light end in crude oil
DHA
- Front End application uses the AC pre-fractionator for the analysis of the light end in crude oil conform IP PM-DL
- Improved Ease of Use and more Flexibility
- Front End analysis results can be directly merged with High Temperature SIMDIS analysis in the SIMDIS software, for improved crude oil boiling point distribution results
- Predefined settings per sample type contribute to reliable peak identification.
