Automated Analysis of Gaseous and Pressurized Liquid Hydrocarbon Streams

PAC's ACCURA sampling device is designed for fully automated analysis of gaseous and pressurized liquid hydrocarbon streams for gas chromatography applications.

The most challenging aspect when analyzing pressurized liquid gases (LPG) in gas chromatography is maintaining sample integrity. Uncontrolled expansion of pressurized or liquefied gases often leads to discrimination and changes in the perceived composition of the sample.
Accura is a temperature- and pressure-controlled vaporization/injection device that fully respects sample integrity. More accurate and precise data is produced, resulting in tighter product specifications and greater refining process profitability.

The Accura system ensures maximum operator safety. LPG and gaseous hydrocarbons are extremely flammable and therefore must be handled with great care. The sampling device can detect when the sampling lines are depressurized after analysis; after this certification, the system signals that the sampling cylinder can be safely disconnected.

Key Features:

  • Excellent Performance: Maximum accuracy and precision. Controlled vaporization ensures sample integrity.
  • Entire Sulfinert sampling path.
  • Maximum operator safety: Accura notifies the operator of line pressure for safe removal of the sampling cylinder.
  • Ease of Use and Flexibility: Simply connect the sample, select the sample type, and start the process. An LCD display shows all pressure and flow information. Relevant information is stored with a timestamp. The system can interface with the 6850, 7890A, and 7890B gas chromatographs.
  • Proven Compliance: Accura complies with methods using gas chromatography for the analysis of LPG and pressurized gases.
